.300 WinMag Precision rifle

This 5 shot group was fired at 100yards using a .300 WinMag that we built. It is a Defiance Machine Deviant long action, a Criterion Remage style match chamber tube that sits in a McMillan stock. The glass is a Schmidt & Bender 5-25 sitting in American Rifle Company Rings. The bang switch is Timney and is set to a glass break of 8oz. This is the performance our shop strives to deliver.

Here are 2 of our rifles enjoying the sun in the high Arizona desert the .300 is in the foreground and in the background is one of our Remington 700 builds in 6.5 Creedy. We take our precision rifle builds out to the desert and we stretch them out to 1000 yards and beyond. Confirming the firearms capabilities is a part of our process and is paramount to the success of the build.

This video shows us shooting the above rifles at 970 yards. We built our own realtime, point to point video system using drone technology and a tablet for display and capture. This with our other data devices give us the ultimate understanding of performance in the field in realtime.

Here is the prototype RF target cam.

1911 Commander multi-caliber system.

I built this for a very good friend who seemed to ask the impossible. A single Commander frame with 3 multi-caliber top ends. This build really falls into the “Because it’s cool” category. This gun is setup in .45, 9mm and 38 Super. All the shooter needs to do is switch top ends and magazine. Of course he wanted the ability to attach a “can” to the system so the gas and tuning of the system was even more important as well as a nice little challenge.
